You have already registered with your campus accessibility office (at QCC it is called the Office of Accessibility Services, or OAS). Each semester, you turn your accommodations on so your supports work in your current classes. Here is how — your mentor can help with any step.
What you use to log in
You log in with your CUNYfirst username and password — the same login you use for CUNYfirst (where you see your classes and schedule). Forgot it? Your mentor, the accessibility office, or the campus Help Desk can help you reset it.
Every semester
Request your accommodations in Accommodate

Log in to Accommodate
Go to cuny-accommodate.symplicity.com and sign in with your CUNYfirst username and password.
Why: Accommodate is the website where you turn your accommodations on for this semester.

Open the Accommodation tab
On the menu, click Accommodation.

Start a Semester Request
Click Semester Request, then click Add New.
Why: A new request is how you tell the system, “I want my supports this term.”

Choose the semester
Pick Fall 2026 from the dropdown menu.

Check your classes
Your Fall 2026 classes are already listed — just tick all of them (or the ones you need).
Why: Your accommodations apply to the classes you pick here.

Submit
Scroll to the bottom and click Submit.

Wait about 3 business days
The accessibility office reviews it and sends your Accommodation Letter to each professor.
Why: The letter tells your professor your supports — so you don’t have to explain it yourself.
If you get test supports (extra time or a quiet room)
Book each test in the Testing Room tab at least 3 business days before the test. You will only see this tab after you finish your Semester Request.

the name and room differ, the steps do not.
Search “your campus + accessibility services”
or ask your program mentor to find it with you.
You are never on your own — your program mentor can help you fill out forms and can go with you to the accessibility office.
